Yahseed Portable — The Librarian

An AI librarian for your machine. She sorts your files by what is inside them — not by extension — shows you every move before it happens, and can undo any of it. No account, no telemetry; your files never leave your machine.

Yahseed reads inside PDFs and Word documents and groups files by subject, so three invoices from different companies end up together and IMG_4471 goes with the photos. She shows you the whole plan first — nothing moves until you approve it. Point her at Downloads or the Desktop and she keeps them clean as new files arrive. Press "Always" and she learns one rule in one sentence, applied only to what arrives afterwards. She files things onto shelves you already have, never builds duplicates beside them, and never touches your projects, code, or installed applications. Every move is written down and one button puts it back. Find & Fix audits every move she has ever made against what is actually on disk, admits anything unaccounted for, and repairs only what you tick. She can also keep your programs up to date — asking first what she must never touch. Ask "where did my insurance renewal go?" and she answers. She searches the web when she would otherwise guess, writes book drafts in the Bookshelf, learns how you like to be spoken to, and takes on new skills over MCP. Runs on Windows, Mac, or Linux with Python 3.10+. Pick Ollama at first run and she works entirely offline, free, forever — or paste an API key and she gets sharper.
